What is port jerome?

Port Jérôme is a small town in the Normandy region of France. It is located on the right bank of the Seine River, about 12 kilometers northwest of the city of Rouen. The town is known for its petroleum industry, particularly the ExxonMobil oil refinery which is one of the largest in Europe. The refinery, which was built in the 1960s, processes crude oil into a range of products including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and heating oil. Port Jérôme is also home to a number of other industrial facilities, including chemical plants, power stations, and a large port. The town has a population of around 4,000 people and is part of the Seine-Maritime department of France.
